Travel to Hong Kong from 23/5 10pm till 27/5 11am

by Ally Eng
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

I will be arrive Hong Kong Airport about 9pm 23/5/11 and my flight back to Malaysia is 27/5/11, 11:35am. I am doubt on how to plan my trip, the flight time seems like make me in trouble.

I plan to stay at THE CHARTERHOUSE CAUSEWAY BAY HOTEL for at least 3 days, at first I think to stay from 23/5/11 to 26/5/11 then change to a hotel nearby airport. But I scare the check in time I reach hotel will be very late and it will be 1 day waste for this trip.

I plan to go Macau in this trip, but not sure which date appropriate.

Could anyone suggest me on the route plan?

The Charterhouse Hotel Hong Kong is a 3-star hotel which is conveniently located between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay area at 209-219 Wanchai Road, Hong Kong.
Tel no. +852 2833 5566

You don't have to worry too much about your trip back to the airport, the Hong Kong transportation is very efficient especially the MTR trains and taking the Airport Express between Airport and Hong Kong station (at Hong Kong island) is only 24 minutes @ HK$100. So changing a hotel close to the airport is really a waste of time and it's not practical also, hotels are quite expensive on that area.

Travel by bus option:

From HK Airport to The Charterhouse Causeway Bay Hotel:
Take the CityBus CTB A11 at Airport, bus stop no.1 (Ground Transportation Centre) to bus stop no.12 (325 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai District after Tonnochy Road, outside Ying Lee Mansion and opposite to the CNT Tower), then you need to cross the Hennessy road a short walk to your hotel (please refer to map below). Bus travel time is approximately 60 minutes @ HK$40.

From The Charterhouse Causeway Bay Hotel to HK Airport:
Take the CityBus E11. Bus stop is also located close to your hotel at 298 Hennessy Road outside Kwong Sang Hong Building / 298 Computer Zone, near C.C. Wu Building and before the Heard Street (please refer to the interactive map). Bus travel time is 69 minutes @ HK$21.

The Hong Kong attractions that I would suggest to you are HK Disneyland, Avenue of Stars and Symphony of Lights in your 1st day, Macau attractions in your 2nd day, and Ocean Park and Shopping also street market shopping in your 3rd day.
