by: Anonymous

Hi!

We will be staying in Stanford Hotel in Mongkok from December 19 to 23, 2014.

Can you recommend possible tourist spots and attractions that we can go to?

We would be devoting two days for Disneyland and one day for Ocean Park.

Thanks!

Getting there:

* From hotel to the Peak where you can also visit the famous Madame Tussauds: Get into the Mong Kok MTR station --> take the Tsuen Wan Line train and get off at Central station Exit J2 (12 mins @ HK$9.9) --> follow the rest of the instruction that you can read in here also in getting to Avenue of Stars from the Peak.

* From Avenue of Stars to Ladies Market. Get into the nearby TST MTR station --> take the Tsuen Wan Line train and get off at Mong Kok station Exit E2 --> take a short distance walk to the Ladies market that is also located close to the Stanford hotel.

26 Oct: Huang Da Xian (Wong Tai Sin) Temple in the morning ==> some other popular shopping mall in Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui area (afternoon) ==> Lan Kwai Fong in the evening ==> back to hotel

@ Kang,

Here's my personal itinerary suggestion based on the places of HK tourist attractions you've mentioned considering each location with approx time-table.

First, Stanford Hotel Hong Kong is rated 3-star hotel located at 118 Soy Street Mongkok Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Mong Kok MTR station Exit E2 and it is also very close to the famous Ladies Market at Tung Choi St. (pls refer to the map below).

Here's the location map showing Stanford Hotel Hong Kong and its nearby point of interest.

25 Oct: HK airport (10:30am) ==> shopping and lunch at Langham Place Shopping Mall in Mong Kok, refer to map (until 2:00pm) ==> 6 mins walk to the hotel and check in ==> proceed to the Peak (until 7:00pm) ==> Avenue of Stars + Symphony of Lights show at 8:00pm ==> Ladies Market (rest of the evening) ==> back to hotel nearby.
