Re: How to travel to ocean park from L'hotel Nina Et Convention Centre Hong Kong?
by: HKinsider Don

L'hotel Nina Et Convention Centre Hong Kong is a 5-star hotel situated at No. 8 Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. 5 minutes walk from the West Rail Line Tsuen Wan West MTR Station (refer to map below).
Tel: +852 2280 2898

Here's the location map of L'hotel Nina Et Convention Centre Hong Kong and nearby access point to MTR station.

Here are ways to travel to Ocean Park from L'hotel Nina Et Convention Centre Hong Kong.

By taxi: Taking a taxi directly to Ocean Park from the hotel is the most convenient way considering you're traveling along with a child but it is the most expensive way that cost about HK$280 at 30 minutes drive for one-way trip.

MTR trains + special express bus, CityBus No. 629: Note that this route is efficient but it comes with some hassle during train interchange and some long walks. I recommend this route specially if you like some adventure.

Take the West Rail Line MTR trains from Tsuen Wan West station (close to your hotel) heading towards Hung Hom station and get off at East Tsim Sha Tsui station. Walk about 8 minutes to the adjacent Tsim Sha Tsui station and take the Tsuen Wan Line and get off at Admiralty station then take Exit B (28 minutes train travel time @ HK$13.2). Upon exit, get on the express bus CityBus No. 629 for about 15 minutes (@ HK$10.6) travel between Admiralty and Ocean Park (main entrance).

Re: How to travel from Royal Plaza Hotel, Kowloon to Ocean Park?
by: HKinsider Don

Royal Plaza Hotel is located at 193 Prince Edward Road West, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Accessible from Mong Kok East MTR station Entrance / Exit B3 (alternate at Prince Edward MTR station Entrance / Exit B2).
Tel: +852 29288822

While Ocean Park is situated at Wong Chuk Hang, a southern district in Hong Kong Island.

The most efficient way in getting to Ocean Park from Royal Plaza is thru MTR trains plus 15 minutes bus ride to the park entrance.

From the hotel, I would suggest you take about 8 minutes walk to the Prince Edward MTR station (the Mong Kok East MTR station is closer but you need to interchange trains at least two times and so the total travel time become longer) then take the Tsuen Wan Line trains going to Central station but you need to get off at Admiralty station and take Exit B. Train travel time is only 12 minutes @ HK$9.7

Here's the MTR route map from Prince Edward station to Admiralty station.
Prince Edward to Admiralty MTR station route map

Upon exit at Admiralty station, take the express bus CityBus No. 629 (HK$10.6) to Ocean Park main entrance. Bus service hours is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in every 10 minutes. Also, you can purchase Ocean Park ticket at the bus station or buy it when you arrive at the park entrance.

Taxi option. Since you travel in a group of 4 people, it is also ideal to take a taxi from Royal Plaza hotel straight to Ocean Park entrance at about 30 minutes drive @ HK$150.

Hope this help and good luck on your trip to HK!

How to travel from Royal Plaza Hotel, Kowloon to Ocean Park ?
by: Anonymous

Re: How to get to Ocean Park from Tin Shui Wai?
by: hk-insider don

The places you've mentioned is doable in one day but you need to cut-off your time in Ocean Park in order to spend some at the Peak.

Harbour Resorts Plaza is located at 18 Tin Yan Road Tin Shui Wai, New Territories Hong Kong
Tel no. +852 21806688

* From your hotel, go straight to Ocean Park. You can take either the hotel shuttle bus or MTR trains to Tsim Sha Tsui (HK$20 and HK$17.2 respectively), and take the MTR trains from Tsim Sha Tsui to Admiralty station Exit B and take the express bus CityBus No. 629 (HK$10.6) to Ocean Park main entrance.

* Ocean Park to Victoria Peak. Leave the Park afternoon (could be around 3pm) to have some time getting to other attractions. Go back to Admiralty station by taking same bus (629) and you can take a taxi straight to the Peak Tram lower terminal (10 minutes @ HK$30) or get into the Admiralty MTR station and take train to Central station Exit J2 (3 minutes / HK$3.7) and then take a walk to the Peak Tram terminus (see walking map below). Take the exciting Peak Tram to the Peak. Please click here for additional info in getting to the Peak Tram.

* From Peak to back to Tsim Sha Tsui (around 6:00pm). From the Peak Tram, take the bus open top bus no. 15C (HK$4.2) 10 min ride to Star Ferry Pier. Take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui (9 minutes / HK$2.5). From the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry terminal, take a walk to the Avenue of Stars also, and that place is a vantage to watch the Symphony of Lights show that starts at 8:00 pm - a must see attractions in Hong Kong.

* Take the West Rail Line trains from East Tsim Sha Tsui to Tin Shui Wai MTR station (29 minutes @ HK$17.6) and then take Light Rail back to the hotel.
