Hello Howie :)

The Bauhinia Hotel in Central Hong Kong is already a great choice. Convenient location for most tourist attractions considering that you'll be coming from/to Macau.

thank you so much for your help! I recently saw another prospect hotel, L'Nina Hotel et Convention Center. Hope you can tell me which one will be more appropriate, more convenient if we're bringing our 1 1/2 year old son.

nov 28: All about Macau

Here's are the traveler's choice and recommended Macau Hotels.

nov 29: Getting to Macau Airport: Just take a taxi from your hotel straight to the airport. Get to this page to see a map and to get an idea on the fare.

I hope the above information will help you.

Hello Howie :)

Here are my recommendations to maximize your trip.

The Bauhinia Hotel Central Hong Kong (pls follow link to read hotel more info) is rated 3-star hotel located at 119 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong

Getting to your hotel from Macau: from HongKong-Macau Ferry Terminal, take exit C from Sheung Wan MTR station then walk for a few seconds:

Head north on Hillier St toward Connaught Rd C
Turn right onto Connaught Rd C
Destination will be on the right

nov 26: Hong Kong Disneyland (don't miss the "Disney in the Stars" fireworks at 8pm)

Getting to Disneyland: Get into Sheung Wan MTR station and take the Island Line going to Central, interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line and interchange trains again at Sunny Bay station. Take the Disneyland Resort Line (39 minutes at HK$21.7).

nov 27: Ocean Park --> Victoria Peak (pop into Madame Tussauds)--> Star Ferry--> Avenue of Stars --> Symphony of Lights at 8pm --> Street Markets - Ladies' Night Market

Getting to Ocean Park: Get into Sheung Wan MTR station and take the Island Line going to Admiralty station, exit B (5 mins @ HK$3.8). Upon exit, get on the special CityBus CTB 629 for about 25 minutes bus ride @ HK$10.6, an express bus travel between Admiralty (west) and Ocean Park (main entrance).

Getting to the Peak: Take same bus no. 629 back to Admiralty MTR station. From Admiralty station, I suggest you take a taxi to the Peak Tram Terminus, about 10 minutes @ HK$30. Then take the Peak Tram straight to the Peak, 7 minutes @ HK$36 (round trip).

Getting to the Star Ferry: Get back to the Peak Tram Lower terminal and nearby you'll find the Peak Tram Bus Terminal. Take the Bus 15C to Central Ferry Pier Bus Terminus (10 minutes @ HK$4.2). Walk about 3 minutes to nearby Star Ferry Pier no.7 and take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui, 9 minutes @ HK$2.5. Then you can walk about 5 minutes along the TST promenade to visit the Avenue of Stars or watch the Symphony of Lights show.

Getting to the Ladies' Night Market: Get to the nearest Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, take the Tsuen Wan Line going to Tsuen Wan and get off at Mong Kok Station, exit D3. Follow directional signs to the market.

Note: the bold and blue color words are major hk attractions, their links are in the bottom of this page. Please follow those links to read more information about it specially on how to get there.
