6 Day tour from 3 Jan 12 to 8 Jan 12


Can suggest a good itinerary for a 6 day tour of Hong Kong Island, Lantau and Southern part of New Territories.

Would like to visit the followings:

1. Ocean Park
2. The Peak
3. Lei Yue Mun
4. Harbour Cruise
5. Lantau Island
6. General sight seeing, shop and eat
7. Macau (if there is time)

Pls recommend some places for shopping and eating where prices are reasonable

Where to get hp pre-paid cards

Arrival in HK around 1pm and departing at 1.35pm

*Getting to Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal from Cosmopolitan Hotel by Bus: Walk 9 minutes to Tin Lok Lane, Hennessy Road Bus stop and take the Citybus No.E11 towards Asia World-Expo and get off at Tung Chung Crescent, Shung Tung Road bus stop(HK$21.0, 14 stops). From Tung Chung Crescent, Shung Tung Road bus stop, walk 3 minutes going to Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal.

*Getting to Cosmopolitan Hotel from Tung Chung by MTR: Take MTR Trains going to Hong Kong station and get off at Hong Kong station. Interchange trains to Island Line going to Chai Wan and get off at Causeway Bay station exit A.(44 minutes @ HK$18.8)
Transport to and from Lantau, Tung Chung

Hi, I am planning to travel to Tung Chung for the cable car ride.

My mode of transport to Tung Chung will be preferably by bus and back by MTR. I will be staying in Cosmopolitan, Causeway Bay. Pls advise on the bus that I should take from Causeway Bay.

Hello Christopher!

Most phones are usable in HK using HK prepaid sim cards. However, if the phone is not usable since it's locked by some providers from the origin. Good news is you can easily make phone calls in Hong Kong using the public pay phones everywhere. Just prepare some HK dollar coins.

Can someone enlighten whether Singapore mobile phones is suitable for HK mobile pre-paid card. Understand that phones need to be GSM unlocked type.

Here's my suggested itinerary:

Jan3: Victoria Peak--> Avenue of Stars--> Symphony of Lights at 8pm--> Harbour Cruise

Jan4: Hong Kong Disneyland (watch the "Disney in the Stars" fireworks at 8pm)

Jan5: Ocean Park--> shopping at Ladies' Night Market

Jan6: Ngong Ping 360--> Lei Yue Mun

Jan7: Macau

Jan8: HK Shopping
