First time to visit HK, 3 adults and 1 kid.

Plane arrive @ 22:30hr at HK airport.

Where to stay for the night before proceeding to disneyland?

Following day, whole day in Disneyland, after closing and watching fireworks. Where to stay for the night?

Q. Stay at the airport on arrival till morning? Can you recommend hotel outside or inside the disneyland, which is less expensive?

L'Hotel Nina et Convention Center (pls follow the link to read hotel more info such as hotel guests reviews and hotel map) is a 5-star hotel located at No. 8 Yeung Uk Road, Hong Kong.

Please follow this link to read detailed travel instruction options in getting to HK Disneyland also to HKIA to / from L'Hotel Nina et Convention Center.

I would recommend going to Disney during weekdays to avoid long lines at the park entrance and rides also, the park is not very crowded.

Hong Kong MTR trains services is until midnight.

Getting to Ocean Park from L'Hotel Nina et Convention Center: Get into the Tsuen Wan West MTR station --> take the West Rail Line and get off at Tsim Sha Tsui East station --> walk to the adjacent Tsim Sha Tsui station --> take the Tsuen Wan Line train and get off at Admiralty station then take Exit B (train travel time is 29 mins @ HK$13.5) --> take the bus 629 that will bring you straight to Ocean Park entrance (25 mins @ HK$10.6).

It is always recommended to stay somewhere in Kowloon area but if you stay somewhere else, with the MTR trains, you can still efficiently explore HK attractions.

To have just an octopus card is ok.

Decide to check in L'Hotel Nina et convention centre upon arrival, since we will arrive at night, which or what transportation should we take to the Hotel faster and economically?

Next day kindly suggest direction & what to take going to Disney, back & fort from the hotel. After watching firework at night, are there still MTR or buses to take us back to the hotel?

And following day, direction from Hotel to Ocean park, back & fort. or (Option)- stay at hotel near H.K. after Ocean park?

Which card should we use during our stay... Airport Express Travel Pass or Octopus card? or Both.
Your suggestions will be appreciated, Thank you.

day 1:

Getting to Chungking Mansion from HK Airport, here's the travel route instruction ( post dated May 19, 2011 ).

Getting to Ladies' Night Market: Get into the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and take the Tsuen Wan Line trains then get off at Mong Kok station Exit E2. Travel time is just 7 minutes @ HK$4.6. Walk about 3 to 5 mins to the market following directional signs.

day 2:

Getting to Ocean Park from Chungking Mansion, read this travel route guide.

Getting to Macau: Get back to Admiralty station. Take the Island Line going to Sheung Wan and get off to that station. Take Exit D towards Shun Tak Centre, the HongKong-Macau Ferry Terminal is on the 3rd floor right above the Sheung Wan MTR Station.

Getting back to your hotel: Take the Island Line trains to Central station and interchange trains to the Tsuen Wan Line then get off at Tsim Sha Tsui station.

Hi HKinsider Don,

Good day!

Can you help me too to know how to get to our destination, fare and cost of each activity? We will be arriving at night in hongkong on March 6, 2012. Below is our itinerary.

Day 1. HK Airport--> TST Chungking Mansion--> Near bargain Shopping--> back to Chungking Mansion.

Day 2. Chungking Mansion--> Ocean Park--> Macau-->back to Chungking Mansion.

Day 3. Chungking Mansion--> Hongkong Disneyland--> Avenue of star
