HOW TO PLAN MY ITINERARY IN MY HONGKONG VACATION

(Tagbilaran City)

Please help me how should I go about my Itinerary. I am from Tagbilaran Bohol and I am planning to board the flight from Cebu on August. It will be our first time to visit Hong Kong. I will be traveling together with my wife and my 4 year old son. These are the places that we want to go and my initial itinerary:

Day 1:

- Disneyland Tour for the whole day and we plan to stay at Disneyland hotel.

Day 2:

- Ocean Park Tour for the whole day and dinner @ Jumbo Kingdom.

Day 3:

- Ride the Ngong Ping cable car
- Po Lin Monastery
- Giant Buddha
- Visit a historical place to learn history of hong kong (where is the best place)
- ride the star ferry
- see the symphony of light @ 8pm
- ride the peak tram
- dinner @ the peak
- night market

Is this possible to do? Any suggestions where I can visit a better tourist spot? What is the best best place to learn the history of hong kong? We will be arriving on the eve of Aug. 22 and will depart on the morning of the 26th.

Re: 3-days Hong Kong vacation itinerary.
by: HKinsider Don

Suggested Hong Kong 3-days itinerary:

Day 1:

AM/PM: (Exploring Hong Kong Disneyland)

Useful tips:
Travelling around Hong Kong is simple using an Octopus Card that can be purchased within the airport arrival hall, which can be used on almost all public transport (except taxis) and at stores wherever you see the sign. Add money to it when you need to - any unspent value is refundable (minus $7 if you stay less than 3 months).

- From your hotel probably after breakfast, go directly to the park (Disneyland hotel and the park were very close). Disneyland Park tickets available at the park entrance. For more details on what to do at Disneyland, please click here.

Evening: (at your hotel - Disneyland hotel)
Enjoy a sumptuous 'Eat Your Heart Out' buffet at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant where a team of chefs will prepare dishes before your eyes. Experience the highlight of every meal that visit to your table by Disney characters. For advance booking at the restaurant, please call tel +852 3510 6000.

Day 2:

AM/PM
- Explore Ocean Park and discover the jam-packed excitement of one of Southeast Asia's largest aquariums and theme parks.

Evening: (dinner at Jumbo Kingdom)
The famous giant floating restaurant is designed like a classic Chinese palace. Situated in Aberdeen harbour, the brightly decorated Jumbo is spectacular at night and also, you can enjoy cultural attractions, a Cooking Academy and exhibits.

Day 3: (exploring Lantau Island)

AM/PM
- Ngong Ping 360, experience a stunning cable car to ride up a mountainside offering 360-degree views over the sea, HK International Airport, lush valleys and rugged terrain, leading up to the awesome Giant Buddha.
- Explore Ngong Ping Village, which includes several popular themed cultural attractions such as Po Lin Monastery, Giant Buddha, The Wisdom Path, Tai O Fishing Village, also you can enjoy great shopping and dining in fact you can even have a vegetarian lunch at Po Lin Monastery.

Afternoon and Evening: (visit Hong Kong Museum of History) / Tsin Sha Tsui area.

- Get on board of the popular Star Ferry to enjoy the incredible skyline and magnificent harbour sights.

- Explore the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui promenade and stay on that area to watch the Symphony of Light nightly show that will start at 7:30 pm.

Good luck to your trip and a wonderful Hong Kong stay!

P.S. I'm from Songculan, Dauis
