A full day Hong Kong tour.

Hi!

Need some assistance with the places we would like to go to.

We'll be arriving in Hong Kong by 2am in the morning, we'll be staying in Tin Sui Wai, Harbour Plaza resort.

For our first day, we either would like to go to Ngong Ping village, Disneyland and the Peak, is that doable? Or we should instead take sometime in strolling around Central, then Disneyland and then The Peak.

I would appreciate if you could give suggestions for our day tour.

Thanks!

@ strife,

The best place to stay is in TST area.

Here's a detailed instruction in getting to Ngong Ping from Tsim Sha Tsui and then to the Peak from Tung Chung coming from Ngong Ping, (pls scroll up into this page for instruction).

Hello Patrick,

The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel is a 5-star hotel located at Estrada De Baia De N Senhora Da Esperanca S/N Taipa, Macau, China. Actually, it is situated at the other smaller island of Macau called Taipa.

Here's the location map of The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel and the most popular tourist attractions in Macau.

Additional information.

Here's an interactive walking route map from Central MTR station Exit J2 to the Peak Tram Terminus.

View Central Exit J2 to the Peak Tram in a larger map

It is about 10 - 12 minutes walk.

Getting back to your hotel. Take the MTR trains from Hong Kong station (adjacent to Central station) to Tin Shui Wai station. Take the Tung Chung / Disneyland Resort Line trains going to Tung Chung but you need to get off at Nam Cheong station. Interchange trains to the West Rail Line trains heading all the way to Tin Shui Wai station (42 minutes @ HK$22.4).

Hope this help. Good luck and enjoy your short stay in Hong Kong

The places you've mentioned that you want to see in your one-day tour in Hong Kong is doable, just don't stay longer in Disney to spare some time to the other places.

From your hotel (around 9:00am), take the MTR trains to Disneyland. Please click here to know how to get there from Harbour Plaza Resort City by trains and other options.

From Hong Kong Disneyland (after lunch), go to Ngong Ping village by MTR trains and taking the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car ride.

Take the Disneyland Resort trains at Disneyland MTR station to Sunny Bay station. Interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line going to Tung Chung and get off at Tung Chung MTR station (16 minutes @ HK$11.6). Proceed to the Exit B and take about 4 minutes walk to the Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal at Tung Chung. Take the cable car to Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal at Ngong Ping village (24 minutes @ HK$80).

From Ngong Ping (about 4:00pm), proceed to Central at Hong Kong island by taxi or directly to the Lower Peak Tram terminal at Garden Road, Central (about 40 minutes @ around HK$250). Then take the Peak Tram up to the Peak.

Or, your best economical travel option is to take the NP cable car back to Tung Chung MTR station (you should opt to buy the cable car round trip ticket @ HK$115 if you take this option) and then take the Tung Chung Line MTR trains all the way to Hong Kong station and take Exit A1 or E2 (29 minutes @ HK$18.8). Upon exit, take a taxi for about 7 minutes drive to the Peak Tram lower terminal @ HK$20.

Also, from Tung Chung MTR station to Hong Kong station then walk about 6 minutes to the adjacent Central MTR station and then take Exit J2. Take a stroll and head towards the Peak (see walking route map below). Actually, you can walk around to see the famous HK skyscrapers and not too far away from that exit is the Peak Tram Terminus. Take the Peak Tram up to the Peak (7 minutes @ HK$40 - return ticket).
