Hi there, I'm heading to Hong Kong & Macau (5D4N) this coming November and in need of help. Here's my plan:

Upon arrival at HKIA, I would need to head straight to Macau, will be staying there for 2 nights. Which ferry terminal should i head to? I am then going to be returning to HK on Day 3 and would be staying at Citadines Ashley (around TST). So which ferry terminal is more convenient for me?

Also, which is the best route to Ocean Park from Citadines Ashley? By MTR? Is the hotel I'm staying near to the TST promenade - so i can view the Symphony of Light?

Appreciate it if you could reply! Thanks a lot in advance. :)

Hello Leia,

From HK airport, I would suggest you take the Ferry transit to Macau at the airport Skypier as explained in this topic discussion and read more in here.

In getting back to Hong Kong from Macau, I would suggest you take the ferry to Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal located at China Hong Kong City, 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong as it is close and walking distance to the Citadines Hongkong Ashley Aparthotel.

Citadines Hongkong Ashley Aparthotel (please follow the link to read more about the hotel and some guest reviews) is rated 3-star hotel and conveniently located at 18 Ashley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. About 3 minutes walk to the TST MTR station (Exit A1), about 8 minutes walk to the Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal and about 10 minutes to the TST promenade where you can visit the Avenue of Stars and watch the Symphony of Lights show every 8:00pm.

Here's the efficient way in getting to Ocean Park from Citadines Hongkong Ashley Aparthotel:
Get into the nearby TST MTR station --> take the Tsuen Wan Line train and get off at Admiralty station Exit B (5 minutes @ HK$8.1) --> upon exit, take the bus CTB 629 that will bring you straight to Ocean Park entrance (25 minutes @ HK$10.6).
