Hi!

I'll be going to Hong Kong on Sep 3 for 4 days. I'm aware the climate still hot and humid in HKG.

Do you think it is advisable to go to places like Ngong Ping 360 and the Big Buddha?

We are family with 3 young kids.

Which is better and cheaper for us to go around; taxis, buses or MTR?

I've already answered your inquiry about weather condition in HK and some travel advise, to read it please click here (scroll down to the bottom of that page).

The most efficient way of transportation in HK is the Mass Transit Railway or MTR which serves almost all over Hong Kong's major places.

You can also consider taking the buses in Hong Kong specially those with direct routes from HK airport to the hotel where you stay.

Also, taxi is good specially to those places in remote areas or some places that involves long walks if taking the trains.
