Hi!!

I am going to be staying 2 nites at HKDL and then 4 nights in Wan Chai... can i take the disney express to Sunny Bay (what is the fare?)then take the airport express to HK (what wd the fare be?)...

my query is when i buy one day pass on octopus is it valid for all MTR lines? also are luggage trolleys allowed on the airport express? tx!!

Hi there,

There's NO Disney Express to Sunny Bay.

There's only the Airport Express trains that serves from Airport --> Tsing Yi --> Kowloon --> Hong Kong station and vice versa.

Here's the route if you want to go from HK Disneyland hotel to Hong Kong (station) island.

Take the hotel shuttle bus to the Disneyland MTR station --> take the train and get off at Sunny Bay station --> interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line that will bring you straight to Hong Kong station. MTR journey time is 31 minutes @ HK$21.7

An Octopus Card (click here to read more about octopus card) is different a Day Pass or Monthly Pass Tickets which is unlimited and only valid for designated journey like for example, for a journey between Sheung Shui and East Tsim Sha Tsui stations.

If you like, you can buy an Airport Express Travel Pass that you can use to travel between HK airport and the city PLUS 3 days of unlimited MTR rides.

Need Help

Hi! This is our first time in Hong Kong w/ 2 kids. Leaving on May 1, 7:05am @Manila and depart on May 04 10:05am. I'd like you to help me for our itinerary. I don't have any idea because we are all first timer. But in our plan we want to go to Ocean Park, Disneyland and to visit also some popular attractive places in HK and also for the rest of our time we want to go on shopping. Would you pls. help me to manage our staying to make it memorable for all of us by helping us to have the best itinerary. We plan to stay in Nathan Road or in TST. By the way do you have also a suggestion for the cheapest place even a hostel that's better for us to stay. Thank you so much and i am looking forward for your reply. God bless you.
