How to spend our 4day stay in HK?

Hi.

My son and I will be spending his 10th birthday in Hong Kong for 4 days and 3 nights. We will be arriving Hongkong at 10am on May 16 and our departure is on May 19.

We are booked at Disneyland Hotel.

What do you recommend that we do in 4days? I would highly appreciate it if you could make an itinerary for us.

Thank you very much.

Here's my itinerary recommendation for your 4 days stay in Hong Kong:

Day 1: Hong Kong Disneyland. It is a full day activity until evening to watch the fireworks that starts at 7:30 or 8:00pm. Your kid will definitely love it.

Day 2: Ocean Park. Also a requires a full day activity. If you and your son loves Disneyland, I'm sure it'll be more at Ocean Park.

To know your hotel location and how to get to Ocean park from there, please click here to view map and directions.

Day 3: At Kowloon area. Take your son to some of the popular Hong Kong Museums such as the Space museum or to the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Then shopping at the well-know shopping malls in Hong Kong then perhaps street market shopping then proceed to the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade before 7:30pm to visit the Avenue of Stars and to watch the Symphony of Lights that starts at 8:00pm

Day 4: Ngong Ping 360 and Lantau Island attractions then a dinner and shopping at Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung before going back to your hotel and then to the airport.

Note that all places I've mentioned in your last day (day 4) are located at Lantau Island and close to the HKIA. This is to make sure that you can have a quick access to the airport.

Please follow those links to the HK attractions mentioned above to read more information specially on how to get there.

Hope this help planning your Hong Kong visit.

3 days tour in HK
by: Anonymous

Hi,

We planned to stay for 3 days & 2 nights in Hongkong and will stay at Mirador Mansion. Below is planned itinerary and perhaps you could help us to optimize our 3 days tour:

day 1 : Mirador Mansion to The Peak
The Peak to Symphony of Lights attraction
Then to Ladies market

day 2 : Mirador to Disneyland

day 3 : Can you suggest where we can go nearby
Mirador mansion as our flight is
scheduled at 21:30H of the same day?

Aside from this as we are travelling by 5 persons, if you could provide us directions and cheapest means of transport.

Thank you very much.

Mirador Mansion is conveniently located in the heart of the city at 58 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. A great place for shopping, dining, and with direct access major transportation in HK.

Also, getting to and from Mirador Mansion from HK airport by bus (CTB A21) is very economical and efficient. The bus travel time is about 64 minutes @ HK$33.

Here's the location map of Mirador Mansion and the nearby CTB A21 bus stops in getting to and from the Hong Kong airport. Note that the bus stops are located along the famous Nathan Road and only takes a minute from the hotel.

I have made some modification to your itinerary above to maximized your stay in HK as follows;

Day 1: Mirador Mansion --> Ocean Park (morning until 4:00pm, click here for getting there instruction).

--> The Peak (until 7:00pm, you can take your dinner at the Peak), click here for instruction in getting to the Peak from Ocean Park.

--> Take the bus 15C from Peak Tram bus terminus to Central Ferry pier (10 minutes @ HK$4.2).

--> Star Ferry ride from Central pier no.7 to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), 9 minutes @ HK$2.5 --> walk along the TST promenade to visit Avenue of Stars and watch the Symphony of Lights show that starts at 8:00 pm --> Take TST MTR train to Mong Kok station Exit E2 (7 minutes @ HK$4.6) and then walk about 4 minutes to the Ladies' market --> back to hotel

Day 2: Mirador Mansion --> HK Disneyland (whole day activity, stay until 8:00pm to watch the fireworks show) --> Citygate Outlets at Tung Chung for shopping --> back to hotel.

Get into the TST MTR station and take the Tsuen Wan Line train going to Tsuen Wan and get off at Lai King station. Interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line heading to Tung Chung and get off at Sunny Bay station. Interchange trains to the Disneyland Resort Line train that will bring you straight to Disneyland. Total train travel time is 38 minutes @ HK$17.

From Disneyland, get back into the MTR station and take the train to Sunny Bay station. Interchange to the Tung Chung Line going to Tung Chung and get off to that last station (16 minutes @ HK$11.9) and then take Exit C towards Citygate Outlets. Go to this page (and scroll down) to see map of Tung Chung area and location of Citygate.

Day 3: Mirador Mansion --> Museums at TST area, click here to read details (you need scroll down on that page) --> popular shopping malls at TST area.

Getting back to HK airport from Mirador Mansion, I strongly suggest you take the Citybus CTB A21 as mention above. The bus stop is located just across Nathan road from your hotel (pls refer to the map above).
