How to get to the Peak from Panda Hotel?

We will be visiting Hong Kong and will be traveling with small kids. What is the most convenient way to the Peak by MTR. Which is nearer to Panda Hotel, Tsuen Wan or Tai Wo Hau if we will go there on foot?

Hello momof2,

Panda Hotel Hong Kong is rated 4-star hotel located at 3 Tsuen Wah Street, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. It is about 7 mins walk from the MTR train; from Tsuen Wan or Tai Wo Hau station, please refer to the map below.

Getting to the Peak from Panda hotel.

Get into the Tsuen Wan MTR station (the great advantage to take this station compared to the other is that you can surely secure a seat specially that you're traveling along with kids as it is the first station) --> take the train and get off at Admiralty station Exit B (30 mins @ HK$11.8) --> take a taxi to the Peak Tram Lower terminal at Garden Rd, Central for about 6 mins drive @ HK$20.

Or, instead of getting off at Admiralty station, you can get off in the next station, Central and take Exit J then a 12 minutes walk to the Peak Tram terminal, please click here to read instruction about this route.
