Hong Kong Disneyland Day trip

My Husband and I will be travelling to Hong Kong in March 2012, we are wanting to go to Disneyland but having already been to Euro Disney I don't think it will take us a full day.

Can anyone suggest any other places nearby we may have time to visit while we are in the area?

Hello Chantelle :)

You might want to visit Ngong Ping 360 thru cable car at Tung Chung cable car terminal, just 16 minutes by train away from Disneyland.

Here's the step by step guide in getting there from Disneyland to NP 360.

Hi Chantelle,

You may also opt to visit at Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung for shopping and dining.

To get there.
Get into the Disneyland MTR station --> take the train to Sunny Bay station --> interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line and get off at Tung Chung (16 mins @ HK$11.9). Nearby you'll also find the NP 360 cable car terminal for Ngong Ping as mentioned by HKinsider stellar above.
