Are there also one-star hotels which you can suggest that is affordable and economical for 4 adults and 1 kid of 8 year old other than a hostel?

In case there are none, which hostel is the best to go to that have an en suite family room?

budget per night: HKD200-300
preferred location: Kowloon

Hope someone can guide us since we will be there 15 days from now. Thank you.

Hi Velski,

Most Guest House and Hostel in Hong Kong are rated 1 or 2 stars.

And budget hotels in Hong Kong are rated 3-star which most of these hotels are always sold out specially in your group that needs Double or Twin Family Room so I would advise that you should book your hotel as early as possible. But these 3-stars hotels have a per night price for a group of 4 persons + 1 kid ranging from HK$900 to HK$1,500.

If your hotel budget is HK$300 per night in your group of 4 people then here's my recommendation.

* Downtown Backpackers Hostel Hong Kong (1-star) is conveniently located in the heart of the city at A1, Block A , 3rd Floor, Chung King Mansions, 36-44 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong (@ HK$358 per night).

* Twh Tai Wan Hotel Hong Kong (1-star) is conveniently located in the heart of the city at A4, Block A, 3rd Floor, Chung King Mansions, 36-44 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong (@ HK$365 per night).

* Tsim Sha Tsui Hostel Hong Kong is conveniently located in the heart of the city at A2, Block A, 3rd Floor, Chung King Mansions, 36-44 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong (@ HK$389 per night).

* Cosmic Guest House Hong Kong (2-star) is conveniently located in the heart of the city at Block F1 (Reception), 12th Floor, Mirador Mansion, 54-64 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong (@ HK$440 per night).
