Hi,

I am planning for a 6 day trip to HK & Macau.

I have booked Hotel Park in Kowloon, as we are pure vegetarian, can you please advise some nice Indian veg restaurants, I also have a 9 month old infant with me, will I be allowed to take her food and water inside Ocean Park, Disneyland, etc?

Can you please advice me which all places should I cover and what mode of transport is preferable and its approx cost.

Thanks.

Hello aks,

Park Hotel Hong Kong is a 4-star hotel located at 61-65 Chatham Road South corner Cameron Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. About 4 minutes walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and 8 minutes to the Avenue of Stars at TST promenade (please refer to the map below).

Here's the location map of Park Hotel Hong Kong and its nearby public transportation access points and attractions:

Foods, alcoholic beverages and other beverages in cans or bottles are NOT allowed in HK Disneyland or Ocean Park but special food for infants should be fine.

Here's an example for approx budget needed to these parks.

Here are some good food spots around Tsim Sha Tsui district for you to consider. Finding healthy (vegetarian) food can be a challenge most of the times BUT NOT in Hong Kong!

* Ashley Road, TST. Whether you're looking for Asian or Western food, this place along the road provides a world of exotic dining choices - Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit C1, walk along the Peking Road for about 3 minutes and then turn right into Ashley Road.

* Canton Road, TST. Many restaurants with good selection of international eateries and offer a magnificent views at Victoria Harbour - Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit A1 and walk about 5 minutes along Haiphong Road.

* Knutsford Terrace, TST. More than 30 restaurants and bars offering tastes spanning the globe - Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit B1, turn right and walk along Nathan Road for about 5 minutes. Turn right into Kimberly Road and then couple of minutes walk up to your left.

* Hillwood Soho, TST. A great choice of Asian and Western food awaits you here - Jordan MTR Exit D, turn left and walk along Nathan Road for about 3 minutes and then turn left into Hillwood Road.

Here's the most efficient way to travel to the HK tourist attractions you've mentioned from Park Hotel Hong Kong.

* Getting to HK Disneyland from Park hotel. Get into the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR subway station and take the Tsuen Wan Line train heading to Tsuen Wan and then get off at Lai King station. Interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line going to Tung Chung but you need to get off at Sunny Bay station. Finally, interchange trains to the Disneyland Resort Line from Sunny Bay station straight to Disneyland station. Total train travel time is 38 minutes @ HK$17.

* Getting to Ocean Park from Park hotel. Get into the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR subway station and take the Tsuen Wan Line train heading to Central station and then get off (next station) at Admiralty station (5 minutes @ HK$8.1). At the Admiralty MTR station, take Exit B. Upon exit, get on the special CityBus No. 629 for about 25 minutes, HK$10.6, an express bus serving routes between Admiralty and Ocean Park entrance.

I assume you visit 1 day in Macau, those above mentioned major attractions offers a full-day activity.
