From Harbour Resort City to Hongkong Tourist Spots & Macau.

Hi, We are travelling to Hongkong this Sept. 19-23, 2011 and we have an accommodation for 5 days 4 nights at Harbour Plaza Resort City which is located at No. 18 Tin Yan Road Tin Shui Wai New Territories Hongkong.

We are first timer travellers (5 pax) and we wish to have a great experience while we are in hongkong. Can you please help us make our itinerary.

We will be arriving late (8pm) on the 19 sept. so most probably we'll start our tour on the 20th sept. We wish to go to the most popular attractions in hongkong like the Ocean park, Avenue of Stars, Symphony of lights, Ngong Ping 360, The Peak, Wetland Park, and on the 22th Sept. disneyland coz we know there will be an event on that day.

We also plan to have a 1 day trip to macau and experience the gondola ride at the Venetian macau resort/hotel and visit Ruin’s of St. Paul, Senado Square(San Ma Lo), fisherman's wharf, Old City walls, and some Souvenir Shops and places to eat.

Please help us know how to go to these places from our hotel and how much will be the fare for the mtr, bus,taxi and the ferry. We also heard there is a free shuttle bus from the Venetian macau resort going to some tourist spots in macau, is it also available to non- Venetian hotel guest like us for example and can we easily enter the macau resort-hotel?

Here's my personal itinerary suggestion to maximized your stay in Hong Kong.

Sept 20, Tue: Ocean Park --> The Peak --> Avenue of Stars and Symphony of Lights.

Getting to Ocean Park from Harbour Plaza Resort City Hong Kong and to the rest of this route can be read in here.

Detailed instruction if taking the trains: Take a couple of minutes walk and get into MTR Light Rail Ginza stop which is located right opposite to the hotel and just get off in the next stop at Tin Shui Wai MTR station --> take the MTR West Rail Line train and get off at East Tsim Sha Tsui station --> walk to the adjacent Tsim Sha Tsui station --> take the Tsuen Wan Line train to Admiralty station (43 minutes @ HK$22.9) and then take Exit B --> get into the bus CTB 629 for 25 minutes bus trip @ HK$10.6 straight to Ocean Park.

Sept 21, Wed: Wetland Park plus shopping.
Just take a short train ride from the MTR Light Rail Ginza Station to Wetland Park station @ HK$4. Wetland Park offers its visitors a full day event then afterwards, you can go for shopping at Tin Shui Shopping Mall which is close to the hotel.

Sept 22, Thu: Hotel --> Ngong Ping (morning until noon) --> Disneyland (until 9:00pm to see the fireworks show)

Getting to Ngong Ping from Harbour Plaza Resort City Hong Kong then to Hong Kong Disneyland:
Get into the Tin Shui Wai MTR station by following instruction stated above from the hotel --> take the West Rail Line train and get off at Nam Cheong station --> interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line and get off at Tung Chung Exit B (50 minutes @ HK$24.4) --> short walk to the nearby NP 360 Cable Car terminal --> take cable car to Ngong Ping (25 minutes @ HK$115 - round trip ticket) --> explore Ngong Ping.

Proceed to HK Disneyland: Take the cable car back to Tung Chung --> get into the MTR station --> take Tung Chung Line and get off at Sunny Bay station --> interchange trains to the Disneyland Resort Line to Disneyland station (18 minutes @ HK$11.9).
