I stay in Hong Kong. My friend will come to visit me from aboard.

His flight will arrive at HKIA and I plan to meet him there before we will go to Macau together.

SkyPier Ferries at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) were intended for transit passengers only without getting through the HK immigration. Basically, these passengers are NOT exiting for Hong Kong.

Here's the fastest way to get to Macau from HKIA:

You need to ask your friend to exit at HK airport and then together, you can take the Airport Express trains to Hong Kong station (24 minutes @ HK$100). Walk to the adjacent Central MTR station and take the Island Line train to Sheung Wan (3 minutes @, free for Airport Express passengers using octopus card) and then take Exit D towards Shun Tak Centre.

Get into the Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal located in Shun Tak Centre, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong just above the Sheung Wan MTR station and then board the Ferry to Macau.

* Ferry service hours: 24 hours with departures every 15 minutes
* Sailing time is approximately 55 minutes @ HK$160 for economy class
