Best way to visit Macau & Zhuhai within a day from HK?

hi

I will be in HK and thinking of visiting Macau and Zhuhai in a day.

Is this possible? Is so, what would be the recommended itinerary?

Take ferry from HK to macau and cross border to Zhuhai just for shopping at Gongbei then back to Macau for sightseeing before taking ferry back to HK?

Or take ferry to Macau and sightseeing there then cross border to Zhuhai for shopping before taking ferry back from Jiuzhou?

Pls advise. Thanks

Hello Jo :)

Visiting Macau and Zhuhai for a day is doable. I suggest you get to Macau from Hong Kong early morning then take a tour around Macau until late afternoon. You can actually cover most of the famous attractions in one day because they're close to each other. Then from Macau, get to Zhuhai for a quick Gongbei shopping then get back to Macau to catch the last 10:30pm ferry trip to Hong Kong.

So that would be: HK --> Macau --> Zhuhai --> Macau --> HK

The route is more convenient because Gongbei in Zhuhai is just a border away from Macau that's why more people prefer this. And, Macau Ferry Terminal is much closer to Gongbei than Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal to Gongbei.
