3 full days in Hong Kong

4 of us visiting February 2012 and will have 3 full days to spend. Not bothered about Disney world or Theme Parks.

Interested in Cable Cars, Victoria Peak, etc, and Hong Kong City.

Thought about big bus tours and dropping off here and their to see things.

Any advice appreciated.

Hello Geoff,

Has been in Hong Kong many times but I remember the first time, it is not as complicated as I'm expected to be. I would say that anybody can explore Hong Kong by their own very easily.

The city's main transportation which is the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is very efficient. It is a rapid transit railway system in the city (mostly subway) that will get you to almost everywhere in Hong Kong.

While you're in Hong Kong, these places are my personal recommendation for "must-visit" and a "must-try";

* Peak Tram and the Victoria Peak

* Victoria harbour for Avenue of Stars and Symphony of Lights

* Star Ferry the a historical icon of Hong Kong. Try a Star Ferry ride between Tsim Sha Tsui (Kowloon) and Central (Hong Kong island)

* Ngong Ping 360 cable car and exploring the rest of Lantau Island attractions

* Ocean Park and Disneyland (or you may select one)

* theme street market shopping for your Hong Kong souvenirs
