Hello Reynel,

Note that HK Disneyland offers a whole day activity so I assume that you only wanted to tour around inside the park without taking the thrilling rides.

So here's my personal itinerary (with timetable) recommendation for a day trip in Hong Kong based on the places that you've mention.

* Ngong Ping 360 (morning until noon) --> Hong Kong Disneyland (noon until 4:00pm, spare at least 4 hrs) --> The Peak (until 7:00pm) --> Avenue of Stars + Symphony of Lights (show starts at 8:00pm across the Victoria Harbour) --> Night Market shopping (9:00pm to midnight).

Getting to Ngong Ping. It depends to where you plan to stay at Hong Kong and I would suggest that you stay somewhere in Kowloon area which is close to the street market shopping.

Option 1: Through Ferry at Central Pier no.5 to Mui Wo then bus NLB 2 to Ngong Ping, please click here to read detailed instruction and fares.

Option 2: By MTR trains, get to the Tung Chung station then take the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car straight to Ngong Ping. I would suggest you purchase a round trip cable car ticket as it will save much of your time than taking a bus or taxi between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping. Please click here to read getting there instruction and also getting from Tung Chung to Disneyland.

Getting from Disneyland to the Peak. The most efficient way is by MTR trains Disneyland Resort to Central station and then about 10 to 15 minutes walk or a short taxi drive (@ HK$20) to the Peak Tram terminal.

Here's how. Get into the Disneyland Resort MTR station and the train going to Sunny Bay station. Interchange trains to the Tung Chung Line going to Hong Kong station then get off to that last station. Walk to the adjacent Central MTR station and take Exit J2. Total train travel time is 37 minutes @ HK$21.2.

Getting from Central MTR station (Exit J2) to the Lower Peak Tram Terminus at Garden Road. Please click here to see map and instructions.

Getting from Peak to Avenue of Stars. Take the Peak Tram back to the Lower Tram terminal and nearby you can find the Peak Tram Bus Terminus. Take the bus 15C to the Central Ferry Pier, 10 minutes @ HK$4.2. Walk to the nearby Pier no. 7 and take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui, 9 minutes @ HK$2.5. Walk along the TST promenade to get into the Avenue of Stars and watch the Symphony of Lights. Click here to see location map of TST promenade along with nearby hk attractions.

After the Symphony of Light show, proceed to night market shopping by taxi (10 minutes @ about HK$25) with just a few minutes away from that location. I recommend Ladies' Market and Temple Street Night Market.

Important Notice: The Nong Ping 360 Cable Car service between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping terminal was temporarily closed for about a month starting on 23 May 2011 for scheduled maintenance work.

You may take a taxi or Bus No.23 (48 minutes @ HK$17.2) from Tung Chung Town Centre Bus Terminus (close to Tung Chung MTR station or adjacent to the Citygate Outlets) to Ngong Ping Bus Terminus at Ngong Ping.

In your case, you may cancel your Ngong Ping trip and proceed right directly to HK Disneyland.

@ judy,

To read details about Rambler Hotel, please click here.

Ladies' Market opening hours is from 12:00 noon to 11:30 pm. You could opt to visit some popular HK Museums or some popular shopping malls (specially at TST area) before heading to the street market.

Here's how to get to the Ladies market from Rambler hotel and vice-versa.
Take the hotel shuttle bus to Tsing Yi MTR station --> take the Tung Chung Line train and get off at Lai King station --> interchange trains to the Tsuen Wan Line and get off at Mong Kok station Exit E2 (18 minutes @ HK$6.9) --> walk about 4 minutes to the market. Follow same route in reverse order in getting back to the hotel.
